Hatha Yoga Teacher
Karol Rodrigues experienced her first yoga class when she was 14 years old. Besides working as Yoga teacher, Karol is a passionate practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and surf.
She is a certified Yoga teacher, recognized by Yoga Alliance and Yoga European Association, and she obtained her diploma at Arhanta Yoga Ashram in The Netherlands. She is instructed in the Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Anatomy, Yoga & Vedic Philosophy.
Her vast knowledge of anatomy and years of experience as a sport masseuse certainly add to her class. This enables Karol to smoothly guide movement and bring relaxation in a safe atmosphere.
Karol has more than 2000 hours of yoga experience.
Hatha & Yin Yoga Teacher
Guiba Guimarães offers structure, security and tranquility so that you can gradually discover your inner strength. Guiba gives various workshops as well as training in the field of personal development and nonduality coaching.
Next to Yin and Hatha Yoga teacher, Guiba is a also a NLP practitioner and a personal coach, . He graduated at Arhanta Yoga Ashram in The Netherlands and is certified by Yoga Alliance and Yoga European Association. He is instructed in the Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Anatomy, Yoga & Vedic Philosophy.
More than 3000 hours in guiding and coaching individuals and groups.
After Inês Sena studied Ayurveda and Traditional Thai Massage, she came across an model of living called Macrobiotic.
Here, each food and cooking method is believed to have specific qualities that can work with each body type to treat specific conditions or simply improve ones quality of life.
By applying this diet in her daily life, Ines could see how food plays such a relevant role in creating a more balanced way of living.
Besides cooking for herself, friends and family, she has been cooking for events in Lisbon and is known to be a real food fanatic.

WHO ARE WE?
Magga Yoga Rereats grew from a small seed in our garden. By looking closely at plants, animals and humans in nature, we gradually carved out a program inspired by the natural growth cycle – going from seed, to growing tree, to fully blossoming canopy.
The seeds, to grow into trees, first lay their roots into the ground, strengthening their connection to the earth. At its own pace, its stem turns into a trunk, and, while breaking the barriers of gravity, becomes strong enough to branch off into various branches, where leaves, flowers, and fruits will spring.
This is how Magga Yoga Retreats sees the human being: an infinite potential of creation, strength and connection. We believe that through becoming aware of the breath, of the body movement and the observation of our thoughts we can maintain a healthy body and mind so as to experience a more harmonious life with ourselves and everything around us.

We find it really important that all our guests receive ample individual attention.
Like this, everybody gets the opportunity to fully develop themselves during the retreat.
